2017 Candidate, Chef James Olberg

Kitchener, Ontario born Chef James Olberg strived to follow in his father’s footsteps and work in the culinary profession from a very early age. He trained under world-renowned chef John Higgins, and has earned four silver medals as a member of Culinary Team Canada. He has been the Executive Chef at Queen’s Landing in Niagara-on-the-Lake and at Vancouver’s Glowball Grill & Satay Bar.


Chef Olberg is known for his creative approach to cuisine and for crafting unforgettable dining experiences.
